On December 17th, IntriguingBeast put a package on the mail.
By mid-January we were both panicking. I went to the local post office, she went to grunt and complain at the UPS office. My theory was that the plane was too heavy and they threw the package through the window in the middle of the ocean. It didn't help when the UPS guy told IntriguingBeast something like: "Calm down, it will get there eventually."
C'mon! After we went through all the channels, even talking with customs and no one knew where the package was, having them tell us that, won't make us feel calm!
February 17th... I got a letter from customs! 2 whole months!
Well, they needed documents from me... And today...

I don't even know how long it's been since my last journal. Hopefully, there won't be such a big gap between this one and the next. If you've read my previous journals you might know that last August I moved from Portugal back to Brazil, the country where I was born but had left when I was but three. So, I have returned 20 years later and it's been hard. Not horrible, but a bit hard. Still, I have a job and I have my own room again. I've settled at this new house for about a month and finally it's feeling like home and I my creative juices seem to be flowing again.

It's been a while since I've been here. I just submitted a poem and it was a very old one xP
Still, I'm very happy to say I have found a job and I'm enjoying it immensely. I am an English teacher at a language school and... well, it's great. I like my students, I like my colleagues and it's not too far from where I live. I have some crazy schedules, but I was never a big fan of pretty, regular time tables. I end up having more free time during the week, and that's pretty nice, honestly. For the last weeks free time has been filled with chores and all, but yeah...

I can't believe it's been a whole month since I wrote that last journal. I am officially living in Brazil now, staying at my uncle's house for the moment but yeah... there's no going back now. At least not to how it was before. I'm enjoying it more than I expected, but till now it's been like this very weird vacations, so I really can't say definitely if I like this here. Still, I'm willing to discover and looking forward to making my life here. Being able to earn a living it's exciting and something I really want to do. Being able to buy the things I want and need...

I'm moving to Brazil. I don't know if I should say back because, truthfully, even though I was born there, I have been living in Portugal since I was three. So, I'm as nervous as if I was moving to a new country, even if I have so much family there. I'm so scared and... nervous.
I don't know why I'm writing this down, maybe I just need... to write. To share this.
